CEREC® CAD/CAM is the epitome of Advanced Dentistry. It means that in just 2 hours you can have a crown! There are no temporaries and no need for a second visit. It’s a precise fit. CEREC  CAD/CAM is less invasive and delivers durable, natural looking dental crowns in a snap. You can say goodbye to gooey impressions, touchy temporaries, and ill-fitting permanent crowns because CEREC® CAD/CAM uses digital imaging so you get a precise fit without all the mess.

“No temporary, no second visit, a precise fit”

CEREC® CAD/CAM crowns look better and are easier to get than their traditional counterparts. In addition, CEREC® CAD/CAM inlays and onlays are metal free, so all you see in the mirror is natural tooth color. They’re an excellent alternative to conventional fillings.

About CEREC Onlays/Crowns

A dental crown restores a tooth’s shape, size, and strength. If Crown- It fully encases the visible portion of your tooth or dental implant. If Onlay – it replaces the missing part of the tooth structure above the gum level.

Once it is permanently bonded in place, only a Dentist or Specialist can remove it.

With proper care and good oral hygiene, the life of a crown/onlay can range from 5 to 15 years.

When a natural tooth-colored porcelain crown/onlay is chosen, our CEREC® CAD/CAM treatment gives patients a completed permanent crown in just one office visit.

A crown may be prescribed by your Dentist to:

Restore and protect a tooth that is worn, decayed, cracked, or broken

Protect and support a tooth after a very large filling or root canal treatment

Cover a dental implant

Hold a dental bridge or other prosthetic device in place

Improve your smile by covering a misshapen or severely discolored tooth

Dentists use Digital Imaging for Safer Radiographs in Acacia Dental Group

Digital Imaging

One of the most commonly used technologies in dental offices is the X-ray. At Acacia Dental, we use digital imaging technology to produce picture-perfect, clear radiographs of your teeth and surrounding tissue. All the dentists at our clinic follow strict radiography guidelines and only take digital radiographs when absolutely necessary. We ensure that your exposure time for dental radiographs is minimal. Exposure time for digital radiographs is about 50 percent less when compared to traditional radiographs.

Clearer Pictures mean Early Detection!

Radiographs allow us to detect dental caries or cavities between teeth which are not visible during a dental examination. Digital X-rays also help us to determine bone level, analyze bone health, examine the roots and nerves of teeth, diagnose lesions such as cysts or tumors, as well as assess damage resulting from trauma. With digital X-rays, we get a better view of your teeth and surrounding structures as we view the image on a computer monitor, instead of holding up a 35mm film up to the light. Digital imaging allows us to store patient images and enables us to easily transfer them to specialists or insurance companies.
